Coventry University campus in Poland expand recruitment outside of the EU

Coventry University in the UK has announced it has officially opened applications to students from outside the European Union who wish to study an undergraduate degree programme at its new campus in Wrocław, Poland. This news followed a recent decision by the Polish Government’s Minister for Internal Affairs to grant the university the required permission to expand its student recruitment outside of the EU.

John Dishman, who is CEO for Coventry University Group, stated that they were delighted for the Polish Minister granted the university permission to expand the programme to nationalities outside EU.

The campus in Poland is primarily established to serve the needs of the city of Wrocław and the neighbouring region. However, it attracts interest from potential students from neighbouring states, non-EU citizens in Poland and from further afield.

The vision is introducing international students to Wrocław Campus, and diversifying the student body and allow current students to develop as global citizens.

The campus allows the enrolled students to gain a British degree awarded by Coventry University in mainland Europe.

The programmes offered at the Wroclaw campus include Digital Technology, Business Management and Leadership, Aviation Management and Cyber Security. Courses are all taught in English in full-time or part-time mode. The multiple intakes throughout the academic year happen in September, November, January, February, April or June offering plenty of flexibility to new potential students.

The university has supported local businesses in the Wroclaw area by supplying them with talented Polish students, and the ability to recruit students from outside the EU would provide the city with even more young skilled students and at the same time creating a more culturally diverse campus.
