Oxford international Education Group expands its university partnerships division with Jacobs University in Bremen
Oxford International Education Group and Jacobs University in Bremen partnered to offer the international students an undergraduate degree which will be delivered on the main campus at Jacobs University Bremen, in Germany. The first group of international students will be welcomed by Jacobs University in September 2021.
The students can develop their English language skills and university-level study skills with pre-sessional English course or a one-year, tailored preparatory programme. This will prepare the students to continue their degree studies at Jacobs University. They can choose from a variety of subjects, including Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Engineering, and Social Sciences.
Jacobs University is a private, English-language university located with a campus in Bremen. Their high-quality learning and research programmes attract talented students from all over the world by offering the highest standards in research and teaching.
The campus provides much more than facilities for teaching and research but offers students activities after the classes with events and leisure facilities that they can really be involved by experiencing the university life.
With the start of the pandemic, Jacobs University has remained open and established protocols and principles to protect the health and safety of its employees and the students – who not only learn, and research here, but also live on campus.
Oxford International Education Group also works with agents in the student’s home countries to assist them with their visa applications.
Professor Antonio Loprieno, President of Jacobs University, said about the importance of the cooperation: “The foundation of the ‘Jacobs University International College’ is a future-oriented project – for our partners, for us as a university and above all for our students.”
Oxford International Education Group already cooperates with four UK universities: Bangor University, De Montfort University, the University of Dundee and the University of Greenwich. The majority of the students choosing the programmes first complete the pathway course and then progress onto the undergraduate degree course of their choice.
