MBA degree studied from a mobile phone – innovative and flexible

Deciding to study for an MBA degree (Master of Business Administration) is a big step for aspiring managers or people working in the business as their careers are already busy and studying brings commitment in terms of time and finances.

One of the schools that offer shorter and completely online MBA courses is the US established Quantic School of Business and Technology. It is the world’s first accredited mobile business school. Its MBA and Executive MBA enable students, most of whom continue working full-time during their studies, to learn from any device, anywhere, anytime.

Quantic’s programmes are accredited by the Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC), which is listed by the United States Department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency.

The classes are completely automated, with students guided through the programme by clicking on tabs to answer questions. The app-based learning is interactive and engaging and even provide students feedback so they can learn from mistakes and progress in the course.

Generally, the students of Quantic’s MBA programmes are similar to those attending any other traditional MBA course. They come from some of the best universities in the world with about 70% former graduates of schools such as Oxford, Harvard, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology or Imperial College of London. The students come from more than 150 different countries and work for leading companies such as Apple, Amazon, and Google.

All the students can access the current students and alumni network and connect with other students through the app by filtering searches by industry or interests. This allows them to collaborate and connect with faculty and classmates.

Since launching the programmes in 2016 the courses are enriched by added access to research databases, a library, resume consultations, virtual events and conferences and student and alumni clubs.

The feedback from students and satisfaction of this online way of learning is positive with students finding the content interactive and easy to navigate and learn.

Tom Garvey, who took the MBA programme and is a former University of Oxford graduate, said: “The MBA was a great experience. Highly engaging content is delivered thoughtfully and interactively. It feels like the future of education!”

The cost for the tuition for either the MBA or the EMBA is US$9,600 that is affordable in comparison to the similar reputable MBA courses of other Higher Education Institutions. Some students get also sponsored by their employers as many companies recognize the high quality of Quantic MBA degrees and they are keen on investing in developing the skills of their employees.
