International House World Organisation has welcomed a new member. GoAcademy! Sprachschule Düsseldorf in Germany has joined the group as International House Dusseldorf.
GoAcademy was established in 1991 and is located in the capital city of North Rhine-Westphalia Düsseldorf which is highly regarded as a university town and an important centre for art and fashion with many museums and art galleries.
The school offers a range of language courses, with English and German as the most popular ones. The choice ranges from intensive classes, long term evening classes, one-to-ones, through small groups to the online and hybrid classes delivered from the beginning of the pandemic.
German language course focuses on medical German for doctors and medical staff and the pathway to German universities. The school is also a recognised testing centre to obtain certificates in TestDaF, TestAS, Telc, WiDaF, Toefl, Toeic and more.

2020 has been a year when everyone had to learn to live and work with constant changes and find alternatives and best solutions to adapt to these situations. The owner admits that it is demanding to develop new learning practices such as online and hybrid delivery of lessons and at the same time taking into consideration student’s learning experience and teachers’ skills and support to deliver the lessons.
Joining the International House brings to the new affiliate members the tag of quality and standards that the members meet through regular inspections with an added benefit of an international network of about 150 schools in more than 50 countries that can communicate and share their experiences and news.
