Oxford Brookes University & Metropolitan College (Greece) PARTNERSHIP

The Oxford Brookes University in the UK has broadened its partnership with Metropolitan College Greece by adding five more courses in both Athens and Thessaloniki.
The new postgraduate courses are on subjects including architecture, entrepreneurship, medical genetics, real estate investment and creative writing.
These courses are a response to a demand in Greece for a skilled workforce in areas such as building, real estate and property, and contribute to expanding access to Higher Education.
The two institutions started their partnership in 2019 with six initial undergraduate and postgraduate courses in accounting, allied health, hospitality and technology.
The 2 new subject areas of creative writing and genetics courses are examples of an opportunity to study these subjects at a postgraduate level in Greece.
Dinos Arcoumanis, from Metropolitan College, Greece said that strengthening the partnership is part of the ongoing plan and comes at a very important time when there is a lot of uncertainty in the global and national economies.
Despite the situation, the new Oxford Brookes programmes have seen a number of young students enrolling thanks to the very successful launch of the partnership last year, the reputation of Oxford Brookes in Greece and also the relevance and demand for the subjects offered.
The number of students from Greece who already graduated from Oxford Brookes programs based at the University’s Oxford campus reached over 1000 students.
Both students who come to Oxford and those who choose to study in Greece will gain not just the knowledge, they become part of the global community and many stay connected long after their graduation.
Oxford Brookes has partnerships in more than 13 countries around the world and supports all achievements of its students.
