Oxford Brookes University proudly establishes partnerships with institutions around the world, and the recent one is in Sri Lanka. The university will be delivering a range of degree programmes through the new partnership with the British College of Applied Studies BCAS.
BCAS is a leading vocational and tertiary provider with over 3,500 students spread across several campuses. The institution specialises in courses from engineering to management to construction and the new top-up degrees, which will include healthcare, construction and law will widen their portfolio.
Sri Lanka is an important location both within the growing education hub of South Asia and in the wider region. It is opened to opportunities that come with new global partnerships. Oxford Brookes University is internationally recognised by teaching quality and inspire young ambitious graduates to pursue important careers.
Both institutions hope for a long and fruitful relationship, which will benefit both the institutions and their students. BCAS is excited about the cooperation with a British university with a tradition that prepares graduates to be ready for a professional employment world. The programmes of study are relevant to local and international job markets and can produce graduates who are skilled and knowledgable and prepared for the job market.
The top-up degrees offered are in Biomedical Science, Quantity Surveying, Nursing and Law, in collaboration with Oxford Brookes. The vision for Sri Lanka to become an education hub in the region means that the new partnership between the Oxford Brookes University and BCAS will help facilitate that vision.
