Warwick University has once again topped the online MBA ranking for the fifth consecutive year.

Warwick University has once again topped the online MBA ranking for the fifth consecutive year.

The online MBA at Warwick is widely considered to be one of the best in the world, and its graduates are highly sought-after by employers.

For the fifth consecutive year, Warwick Business School is ranked number one in the Financial Times ranking of online MBAs. Alumni salary is again the main factor in Warwick’s success: an average of $194,864 three years after completion — a 36% increase over that period. Graduates praised Warwick’s online platform and programme materials, its careers service, and the support available to develop start-ups. One alumnus surveyed for the ranking said that the course “served as a career accelerator, arming me with tools that have spurred me on to remarkable career success”.

At Imperial College Business School, the average salary is $192,016. However, it maintains its second-place position for international mobility and for career progress based on its alumni’s job seniority and the size of their current organization. Compared to three years ago, Imperial has seen a rise in both of these categories.

Spain’s IE Business school comes in third place among business schools in Europe, with a 92 per cent international student population and top rankings in the environmental, social and governance category. Satisfaction with the school’s programme has also improved over time, from 8.51 out of 10 in 2021 to 9.23 this year.

University of Florida is one of the best schools for online delivery of live teaching sessions, teaching materials, and online exams. Additionally, the school’s careers service is highly rated by alumni.

Based on value for money, the University of Bradford School of Management ranks tenth overall. This is based on alumni salaries, scholarships, fees and other costs as reported by graduates.

Most online MBA programs offer opportunities not available to traditional full-time MBA students, such as networking events and immersion in the learning experience. However, these programs have proven to be valuable during the coronavirus pandemic.

The number of students who enrolled in online MBA programmes increased by 1,384 this year, though this falls short of the 2,000 figure that many schools were hoping for. The majority of these students are from the United States and Canada but there has been an increase in the proportion of female and international students as well. Overall satisfaction with schools’ programmes is increasing too.
